Well if you hadn’t already guessed… it’s a ‘Bra Bag’
While browsing the net the other day I came across the perfect thing for a display for a ‘Tickled Pink’ morning tea (for our Pink Ribbon Day morning tea) I am planning for October: Bra Bags! “Really?” asked my co-planners with one eyebrow raised.
But really, think about it…
Small bras make great little pouches or swing purses, D-E cups remind you more of the overnight variety of bag.
And then there is everything in between, all looking beautiful with polka dots and lace, bows and roses, frills and buttons and the list goes on.
Dress them up with fringing, flowers, pom-poms, ribbons and even more lace and you suddenly have the potential to have the most talked-about bag on the street.
But seriously, they do look gorgeous, and how much fun are they to make. The polka dot one I made is 100% fun, the rosy one just a little more sophisticated.
The best way to promote Breast Cancer Research I say. Get everybody talking!!
If you catch the bug and want to make one too, check out my tutorial here on how to do it.
